My wife and I live in Portland, Oregon and bought a home in Scottsdale, Arizona. We searched for interior designers and narrowed it down to 3. We choose Tamara and Torri because of their great reviews and our belief that two experts are better than one. We made a very smart choice. While still in Portland, we gave the ladies access to our Scottsdale home and they went to work. By time we arrived a month later, the walls were freshly painted, carpet was put in a couple bedrooms, furniture was ordered, new lighting was installed and more. These ladies work exceptionally well as a team, know their craft, have great communication skills and work ethics. They truly put their hearts into everything they do. They have also assembled a solid team of contractors who are also exceptional at their craft. My wife and I could not be more pleased. We hit a home run with both Tamara and Torri and give them our highest recommendation.

Tamara is so great to work with. She is responsive, supportive, and very creative. And what a plus to get to work with Torri as well. This dynamic team came through in every way! It was a huge challenge to furnish and decorate a second home remotely during the pandemic! They offered great recommendations, met deliveries, and found items that were spot on. I can’t express my appreciation enough - what a great experience! My home is perfect and I get so many compliments!

She is very easy and pleasant to work with. I had a budget and Tamara tailored her services to work with me. She made visits to see progression, get measurements, and make suggestions or item placements. She used as many items in my house that would still tie in and helped me with scale, so I did not have to shop too much. Since I still had to juggle three boys, work and the rest, she posted pictures on Pinterest of items I can buy directly or of a look we are going for. This was the most helpful because I could see how the whole room would look and I could buy them when I had the time. Tamara picked items I would never look at because I would think they don’t match, but they do and I love them the most!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    We extend out trade discounts to our clients to help with the overall budget of the project.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Step 1 We’ll start with a discovery call to get to know each other and discuss your needs. Then we’ll schedule an in-home consultation so we can walk your space and take measurements and notes! Step 2 We will send you a design proposal to see our estimated design hours. Step 3 We will schedule a time to review your proposal and answer any questions you may have. Step 4 Now for the fun stuff! We get started by sending you mood boards with product information so you can research the items we are suggesting. At that time, you will be able to see the retail costs and our trade pricing. We will go back and forth and apply any feedback you have so we can make sure your design is perfect. Step 5 Once you approve all of the items, we will start ordering! We will work with you to see if you would like to receive all of the things and unpackage them or if you would like us to set up a receiver. Step 6 Once all of your items have been delivered, we will schedule a time to come and place all of them!! Step 7 Once we are done staging your new things, we will walk the space with you and celebrate how beautiful your new home is! Step 8 Invite your loved ones over to come and enjoy all the tremendous changes you made!
