FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every estimate is free, detailed, and itemized — you'll see exactly what you're paying for, with no hidden fees or surprise charges. Pricing depends on the size of the job, the condition of the surfaces, the amount of prep involved, and the products used. I'm happy to walk through the quote line by line so you understand it. For larger projects I take a deposit to cover materials, with the balance due on completion once you've approved the work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a free on-site walkthrough so we can see the space, talk through what you're after, and answer questions about color, finish, and timeline. From there we send a written, itemized estimate. Once we agree on scope and a start date, my crew handles full prep — moving and covering furniture, patching, sanding, taping, and protecting floors — before any paint goes on. We keep you updated as the job moves along, and we finish with a walkthrough together so nothing is called done until you're happy with it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
More than 23 years of hands-on experience across interior, exterior, and commercial painting — which in this trade is where the real learning happens. I grew up with a dad who was a custom home builder and started working for him in all the trades.
