FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No design problem is the same and as with any complicated endeavor it is difficult to project exactly what a final cost would be without knowing specifics. Factors such as timeline, number of design options or changes, and expected level of quality can all factor into what a fee for you project would be. To give you a fair and honest quote and give you the most value for you budget I would be happy to st down with you and discuss your project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There is no typical design process as there is no typical problem, need, or desire that the design is trying to address. The design process itself is often not linear and requires testing, revisiting, and exploring various ideas. At times it the team circles back to previous ideas to retest based on new insight or information. The more complex the problem, potentially the longer this process can take. This is all completely normal. Each project is unique and I approach each project as a learning experience. Early on I will work to define what you want out of your project and what a successfully completed project would look like to you. From there we will work continuously towards that goal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
2014 Master of Architecture from Arizona State University - Tempe AZ. 2010 Bachelor of Science in Architecture from University of Minnesota - Minneapolis, MN. AWARDS AND RECOGNITION - AIA Henry Adams Medal and Award. Design Excellence Award. Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Four Consecutive Design Excellence Nominations. SALA Award Honorable Mention.
