- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was kind of guided in the direction by my uncle. At 18 I was shopping apartments for him. I have always had a knack with real estate, and rentals. Also you can really help people, on all levels. I like the looks on peoples faces when I have good news for them. Knowing your helping someone with a house that they call home or provides financial security for their family is such a fulfilling thing.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
What don't I do, I love my clients! I lease, manage, give evaluations, suggestions to increase revenue, inspections, go to HOA meetings, and if a tenant does not fulfill a lease term, due to no fault of the owner, I credit them the commission on the uncollected rent!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Chose a company that is licensed in the state your rental home is located in. Also, can you call them after hours, what are there hours and if they gave you a cell number do they screen the calls after hours?
