- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
***As a Certified Teacher and Tutor, with 20 years in the classroom and 10 years as a Tutor, I prepare for each individual student, providing many avenues of learning, and follow up with a detailed report. I also offer a free initial consultation wherein I evaluate you (or your student) extensively. At that time I set up a Detailed Program Plan to provide excellence in learning to achieve your goals. Should you refer someone to me who signs up for tutoring, I will give you one free lesson. Also, if you have a 2nd child, I offer $5.00 off the 2nd child. Thank you!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Kindly send a message to me through Thumbtack, and I will respond as soon as possible! We can discuss what your educational goals are, and set up a time for a free evaluation. I will evaluate you (or your student's) skills, and set up a learning plan, and discuss it with you. We then set up a regular day and time to meet.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a Certified A teacher, I have 20 years of classroom experience with Mesa Public Schools. I've also been awarded Teacher of the Year, and served as a Reading Specialist for 7 years. While I have taught all subjects, my focus is on Reading, Writing, Comprehension and Language. In addition to learning, it is of the utmost importance that my students gain a strong sense of self esteem as they accomplish their goals. I have been tutoring for 10 years, and enjoy what I do tremendously!
