- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing all depends on the scope of the water damage; customers have the option to use homeowners' insurance if they would like. I'd say 90% of my customers typically file a claim due to the severity of the water damage.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do free estimates on jobs, I walk my customers through the areas that have water damage, I am able to show them with my thermal imaging camera the areas affected as well as the amount of moisture present. I talk with them about the process of water damage and how I am able to prevent further damage to the structure of their home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been around this industry my whole life, my father is a master plumber, so I grew up going and helping him with jobs. I am also certified through the IICRC.
