Jeremy was the BEST ... on Thumbtack he is labeled as a handyman but he literally can do anything. He was on time, professional and ended up doing all kinds of things when we moved in (installed 8 ceiling fans - some very high, hung heavy items on walls, moved light sconce/electrical box locations) and he was so fast and efficient. We had lots of different contractors here and he actually helped them out on occasion. So great to work with and a great economical choice. Highly recommend.
We had our whole house painted by The Best Painters... I mean I everything in the home got a fresh coat of paint, the ceilings, the trim, the doors and the walls plus the garage. Alex did an amazing job fixing multiple places that had significant drywall damage (one area was so bad by the fireplace my family thought we got new sheetrock not a patch job). We also paid for new 4" baseboards to be installed, they look amazing and the price was hard to beat for the quality of work. What we liked most about Albert and his team was they came back at the end job and we could point out a few things we would like touch up. Albert even said over the next few months if we find any areas that need touch-up to let him know and he would send someone out to fix it. We have arrived a few painters and by fair, The Best Painters really are the BEST!
John was hired to fix damaged Sheetrock walls and ceilings in our house. He did a great job, on-time, and efficiently done. He is professional and courteous. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.
We are in the middle of door install number one, but Darryl has been professional, on-time, a hard worker, courteous and just over-all a wonderful contractor to work with. Looking forward to finishing both door installs and giving him a 5-star rating at the finish.
Phase 1 of our project that mainly consisted of adding 47 sheets of sheet rock, mud work and texturing ceilings and walls has been completed today. Other jobs surrounding this work were addressed and properly done - some of which were unpredictable in nature and developed "as we went". Very happy with Jeremy's work ethics, follow-through, timeliness and foresight. I am moving to phase 2 of my remodel in a South Scottsdale 50s home from the 50s. I would not think of hiring anybody else but Jeremy and his crew. Fair and competitive price. After many contractors who tried to screw me over Jeremy is a breeze of fresh air. Project length was 2 weeks. Thanks, Jeremy. Great pleasure working with you!
Jim and his team did an awesome job putting up sheetrock and matching my current texture. Very reasonable prices!! Definitely would hire again for future work!
Rigo did an excellent job repairing several stress cracks in my home's ceiling and walls. He was professional, personable and efficient. I would absolutely recommend Imperial Drywall to anyone in need of a drywall contractor.
I have a 2000 SQ house that was in a desperate need of paint. Nick was professional and got the job done and got it done right. I have seen a lot of paint jobs on houses that the color is weird or the way the painting was done but this was a great job. He worked well with the other contractors that were working on my house and they said that they liked working with him also. For any other painting job that I have I will ask Nick to do the work and I will be recommending him to anyone that needs painting work done.
Did an excellent job patching sheetrock and matching texture. Highly recommend him!
Do you ever watch one of those DIY shows on television and suddenly believe you could be a craftsman producing amazing results in a fraction of the time and cost the "professionals" charge? So you set out to create something amazing only to realize that you have neither the experience nor the skill to even approach something you would be proud to show your family and friends. That basically sums up my latest project of creating an office out of a spare bedroom. After demolition, wiring, and elementary drywall came time for finish work. A few YouTube videos and several visits to the local home improvement store quickly made me realize that I was in way over my head. So instead of trudging away throwing mud and money all over the room I swallowed my pride and a large amount of sheetrock dust and admitted defeat. I needed professional help (despite what my wife says I meant professional sheet rocking help not the mental therapy she constantly suggests). I turned to Thumbtack and quickly had several bids all very competitive. In the end I selected Time4LSM. The decision was not just based on price. David answered all my questions and even made suggestions of what I could do whether I went with him or not. He was very professional and a wealth of knowledge. At first we scheduled the work to be done at the end of the week but after I explained my dilemma and how other pieces of the office made this kind of an emergency, David offered to be at my house at 7 AM on Monday morning (just a day after I gave him the job). I eagerly accepted. David arrived early to the job with all of his equipment. He was courteous and professional. He worked quickly and went above and beyond making sure all of the texturing matched the existing house. He offered tips and was in and out quickly helping me put my project back on schedule. I would definitely recommend him with confidence. My wife has permanently posted his business card in plain sight almost as a Handyman Bat Signal so the next time I binge watch HGTV and get some kind of crazy remodeling idea she has someone to reach out to in order to save what little ego I have left.
Richard could not have been nicer!! Showed up as agreed , job was done in the time promised by skilled craftsman and he hooked us up with other wonderful contractors to get a lot more renovations done! Job well done!!!!
EXCELLENT RESULTS!!! SOLID TEAM, CONSISTENT FOLLOW THROUGH!!!! THIS IS WHAT WORKING WITH A CONTRACTOR SHOULD BE!!! Josh Rudin and his team at ASAP RESTORATION completely restored our home after it was flooded. We are so happy we ended up hiring them. They knew how to work with our insurance company and were always delivering a great quality job on time. Jason was our Project Manager and I know we couldn't have gotten through all of this without his help as well. Everything from sheetrock to drywall and painting to door trims was well done. We got to know the staff well, and they were such nice people with good work ethic. ASAP also has great sub-contractors. We couldn't be happier with our kitchen and bath cabinets and countertops. They recommended great quality products and have the right professionals for installation. I'm in the design business myself and had never been through an experience like this with flood damage. I can't say enough about the professionalism and follow through from ASAP. I would and will recommend them to my friends and family. Also important to note, if they have a point of view on something that would look better, listen to them, they know their business. We went back and forth on a few finish options and whenever I took their advice, I was happy with the end result! I may be a designer, but I believe you can always learn something new if you stay open! Here's the reality check. You as the customer have to do your homework too. Don't expect them to bring you lots of floor samples and counter top samples and cabinet samples. That is time consuming and not part of their job. But do feel free to ask them for advice on where to go to check out materials, they have great sources!! My opinion is, when you go through something like this, you have to take the time to understand what your insurance company is willing to pay for. Talk to your adjustor if you have questions. And once you know, for example, what your budget is for kitchen countertops, go check out material pricing at Lowe's. Then you can have a reasonable conversation with your contractor. If you don't do your own homework and just leave it in your contractor's hands, you will be fine - just don't complain if it isn't exactly what you imagined. Hiring a contractor is a 2 way relationship. If you don't do your part, you shouldn't complain unless something is actually installed wrong. We are very happy with all the work performed by ASAP!! SO GRATEFUL TO ASAP RESTORATION FOR MAKING OUR HOME BEAUTIFUL AGAIN!!
Ralph was very pleasant to work with. He did some grout repair work, sealed the tile, drywall repair, paint and replaced our shower door sweep.
We have hired contractors before but none have exceeded expectations like HCN Home Improvements. We were very particular and specific with what we wanted and we are ecstatic with their communication, timeliness, performance, and value. The project was for an addition but they made it look like it was part of the original floor-plan. We have hired them for additional projects and are looking for others. They ROCK!
We found Larry and Joe on Thumbtack. They are both very nice and very skilled at everything that they did for us. Their drywall and texturing ability is amazing - you can't even tell there was a hole in the wall. Thye are also great at installing deadbolts and changing locks. They also installed a ceiling fan. They did a great job replacing the outside siding from termite damage. They removed a doggie door and covered the hole so that you can't tell it was there. We highly recommend them!!!!
The job was to remove popcorn ceiling in living area into dining. Also in master bedroom including drywall repair and paint. There was 2 weeks available for the work. The ceilings look great. Drywall repair and paint in master looks great! The work was completed in the time frame specified. Very professional and great work. Thanks again Hector and Dave!
TLG Home Improvment was absolutely wonderful to work with. They finished up a Crown Moulding project another contractor walked out on. They showed up everyday on time. The job site was kept very clean and they worked very efficiently to wrap up the project. The moulding was installed flawlessly, exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend using TLG for your next project. Thanks Terry, Matt & Sara!!
We had purchased a home with the intentions of doing a large remodel on a 3,000 sq ft home. We started our remodel journey trying to find a contractor that we could place our trust in to manage the remodel. Prior to finding Mark that journey was a nightmare. We had people who would make promises that later would not be kept, had workers state that they would be there but never show up and others who tried to take advantage of us by overpricing their work. Finding Mark has been the best thing to happen to us in our home remodel. We are in the midst of the 5-6 week remodel, however so far we have been more than pleased with how Mark has handled making our home our dream home. He has been very conscious of the budget and timeline, has had great communication and best of all wants to ensure we are happy and comfortable with the progress. So far all of his promises have been kept, he shows up when he says he will be there and has exceeding our expectations. There have been many things that he has gone above and beyond what has been asked of him. Since hiring Mark we have been able to enjoy the process and are excitedto see the finished product. I will provide an update on our review of the finished profuct, but so far we are beyond thrilled. More to come.....
Narsay was a very good contractor to work with. Good value, on time, good quality of work. I would recommend Venus Homes for any floor tile work.
They gave us a bid and started work the very next day. Taking over in the middle of a job after our prior contractor disappeared. Not only were they fast & reliable, but they also did a beautiful job client moldering the work.
The skill and attention to detail that Charley took in the construction of a 2.5 car garage attached to our newly built home is very impressive. He takes pride in a job well done---from concrete to siding, to roofing. Afterwards, we wish he had been available to take part in a greater portion of our home build. He left the area spotless, unlike the other contractors who left nails, staples, trash, and boards strewn all over, It may be their work space today, but later, our grandchildren's safety was a concern. In addition, to create a quality project, Charley often fixed the poor install of others, especially if it affected the integrity of his project. He always kept us apprised of any issues and stayed on schedule. We are very pleased with his work and would recommend him as someone who still believes in quality and exceptional customer service.
