- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will always clarify my final fees at the initial meeting if a client adds on anything. I am not the lowest price, but am worth my fees. My clients say that I put them at ease, because I ask a lot of questions, and turn what they say into a more eloquent explanation. It is really hard to describe themselves for a lot of people.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always conduct a personal interview and have a list of questions for the customer, to flush out what they actually do and / or what they hope to do in their line of work. I collect 1/2 of my fee, I then compile the interview into the final documents for presentation to the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 11 years in the industry, a degree in English communication, with an emphasis in the sciences.
