Sid and his team were extremely responsive and professional from start to finish.
I obtained five other bids for the replacement of an old water heater that failed. I provided all companies with detailed information upfront, including the required size, dimensions, and what work had already been completed. Despite that, several companies clearly attempted to take advantage of the situation with significantly inflated pricing, even for what was ultimately a straightforward job.
Do It Right Plumbing, along with one other company, came in at a fair and reasonable price that was less than half of some of the other quotes, including one company I had used previously. What ultimately set Sid and his team apart was their communication, honesty, and professionalism throughout the process. They kept me informed as they confirmed equipment availability and pricing, walked me through each step, and were friendly and straightforward the entire time.
We did run into a hiccup that was on my end. I believed the old tank had been drained, but the spigot was actually clogged, which caused an unexpected delay. The crew handled it without complaint, got the tank out, removed the spigot, and drained it outside. I compensated them for the additional unforeseen labor because it was the right thing to do.
At the end of the job, they were courteous, appreciative, and delivered solid workmanship. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Sid and his team again and would confidently recommend Do It Right Plumbing to anyone needing reliable, honest plumbing work.
