Hello first Gary I am very sorry for your loss and that things didn’t turn out the way you envisioned however you never stated any specifcs on how you wanted the photos. So based on the contract we both signed I had creative freedom. When we spoke you said you didn’t really have a preference. You said you just wanted candid shots. No examples on how you wanted them you just wanted candids. The day of the event there was no direction before or even on the day when I arrived you barely spoke to me and gave no direction. There was no order of service nothing. so being there were only 25 people I took candid photos of people talking mostly because what other moments were there. You also never told me who was important nothing so I didn’t have much to go by. The video. With nothing being organized we walked outside in the 110 degree weather of arizona and walked around trying to figure out where they would fly over after waiting for 30 minutes praying my camera didn’t overheat like my phone did suddenly some yells there it is flying over us on the ground thousands of feet above it wasn’t going to be perfect. Perhaps with more organization I could of set up my tripod. Yet after taking 450 photos editing 300 and then picking the best ones for you. Doing them black and white assuming you would like that filtering your wife favorite. Color purple. Then editing a video that contractually I was not obligated to do. however I wanted to do something nice for you and your family. I was only contract to take photos and film 30 secs. Again I am sorry for your loss as I have loss many people in my life but I treated you how I would of wanted someone to treat me for my mom and dads funerals. I believe that we just we not a good fit. In the future, if you have a vision, please let the person know that is taking the photos and doing the videos for you. That way they can accommodate you appropriately.
