I’ve been tutoring math for 38 years, specializing in high school and college Precalculus, Trigonometry, and Calculus. My approach is patient and step-by-step. I help students understand why the math works—not just memorize steps or get through the homework. When something isn’t clicking, we slow down, find the gap, and build from there. Online sessions are one-on-one and interactive. We work directly with your class notes, assignments, and review sheets using screen sharing and a digital writing tablet, so you can see every step as we work through it together. Sessions are $55/hour with no contracts or packages. Meet regularly or schedule help as needed.

Sharyn has been a godsend to our family. We found her with a Google search, and were so glad we did. My son is in high school calculus, and he has had regular (weekly) sessions online with Sharyn since the beginning of the school year. He had never had tutoring before and was nervous about it being online, but he instantly felt comfortable once he realized how lessons would go. She breaks everything down in a way that is much easier for him to understand, and he comes out of each lesson smiling. I cant tell you how many times hes told me, Things went really well! and She helps so much! It makes a moms heart happy. Sharyn has also been so reliable. She is always on time for lessons, and if there is a test coming up, she is willing to be flexible and provide extra help. I have reached out many times, and she is always so quick to respond and has always been able to help. 10/10 I would recommend Sharyn to anyone looking for math help, and I would tell you do not be scared by the idea of online tutoring! It is worth it!!

I had Sharyn as a tutor for my Math 210 class at Arizona State University, and she made a huge difference for me. Ive always struggled with math throughout my education, but working with her consistently over Zoom a few times a week completely changed my confidence and understanding. Im writing this right after finishing the class with a B, which I honestly didnt think was possible at the start of the semester. Sharyn has excellent communication skills, explains concepts in a way that actually makes sense, and is incredibly patient and encouraging. If youre struggling with math or just want to improve, I highly recommend her she truly cares and knows how to help you succeed.

Sharyn was absolutely wonderful to work with for our high schooler son. She explained concepts so clearly and gave him really strong instruction that helped build both his understanding and confidence in math. Since the tutoring was done remotely, we bought a writing pad/tablet setup, and that made the experience feel almost seamless and very interactive.She was always on time, incredibly patient, encouraging, and very flexible with scheduling, which made a huge difference with our busy family schedule. She was also very reasonably priced. Our son worked really hard with her, and with her help he was able to earn an A in his math class.We were so impressed with both her teaching style and the results.
