Boarding. Check-ins. Over-night sitting. House Sitting. Additional Chores (Watering Plants/Bringing in the Mail, Kitty Litter Clean Up and Doggy Waste Clean Up). Walking Service (Early morning or late afternoon only). Prices customized to individual needs and length of time
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After volunteering at the shelter I decided I LOVED meeting new dogs and cats all the time, even if they would be adopted and gone only weeks later. The kennel cleaning, dog walking, and socializing the animals to be able to go to potentially better homes made me so happy and I often stayed from opening to closing time. This led me straight to what I do now.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I often go in the morning to either let the (usually dog) out, feed them and play. Then I'm back in the evening to let them back in and for dinner. Sometimes I stay overnight because the dog doesn't like being alone or cries if alone at night. Sometimes (usually birds/hamsters/reptiles, ect) I just go once a day to fill their food and water bowl. On rare occasions the owner brings their pet to my home for boarding so they are never alone during the owner's trip (I have two loud but very friendly and calm Chihuahua mixes).
