- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Started working for the gas company when I was 19. There I learned everything about underground utilities and excavating and pipe fitting. Then worked for southwest gas for several years where I learned the above ground aspect and residential piping. Left from there to work for two large outfit plumbing companies and learned complete residential plumbing, water, sewer, water filtration. I quickly excelled and got my own license and went on my own. I am now learning and getting certified for fire sprinkler systems as well. I’ve always taken pride in my work and that has thankfully kept me very busy.
