FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No "standard" pricing as I do not provide a cookie cutter experience and no two events are the same. My pricing is very fair and I do not charge by the hour as most do since I invest far more time into preparing your event for success than what the event will actually last. For example, a 6 hour wedding reception usually takes around 15 - 30 hours to prepare for on top of the 6 hour performance. If that seems a bit high, think about the last concert you went to. Maybe it was 3 hours long, but do you think the performer spent more than 3 hours preparing? You bet they did. Be assured I perform and prepare as a professional. It will show on the day of your event!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work with you every step of the way from first contact through beyond the conclusion of your event. Since the first question I usually get is "how much do you charge", I begin by asking some basic information about your event such as date, time, location, and anticipated guest count. I then explain to you what is unique about my services and help you by aligning my services with your needs and desires. After showing you some of the services I am capable of delivering, I find out your budget and work with you to find out how it will be best spent. No two events are the same therefore I don't have a set hourly rate but I do provide a very fair price for the services I provide. I am available to address your concerns, answer your questions, and offer guidance beginning the day you hire me all the way to and beyond the day of your event. I strive to exceed what you've come to expect from a DJ.
