Since 1973, I've been counseling and coaching individuals, couples, families and groups, and I am a state and nationally licensed/certified counselor and clinical hypnotherapist. I specialize in the treatment of trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, grief, phobias, addictions recovery, eating disorders, etc. Clients say I give them the safety, the tools, and the teachings to do what they didn't think they'd ever be able to do. One said, "You taught me the difference between my self-image and my soul". I always felt this is what I was born to do. I love helping others and see each person as a completely distinct individual. My goal is to inspire each one to be in a positive state of being 90% of the time and how to deal with the negative 10% effectively. I help them find their unique abilities and gifts, then how they might use them in the best way. I'm trained to use traditional counseling and hypnosis methods, and have been trained by the best in the cutting-edge techniques that I am continually learning such as Brainspotting, EMDR, EFT, NLP, and Energy Psychology.
