I started tutoring in 1997 while obtaining my mechanical engineering degree. I have primarily helped with math subjects including, pre algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, geometry, pre calculus and calculus.

I needed to crunch 4 years of high school mathematics, into 4 days and I needed help to understand things I have never heard of. I’m 42 and haven’t been in school since 1996, so he had his work cut out for him. Long story short, after 2 sessions, I passed my GED Math test, and I couldn’t have done it without his help. I hold a degree in mechanical engineering and have met the requirements to teach at Pima Community College.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I originally tutored in college and worked for 3 years while finishing my degree. Additionally, I have actively homeschooled my own children for 12 years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Students of multiple grade levels and subjects from elementary through high school. I have also helped adults pursuing advanced degrees.
