I called SB Renovations from a referral of a good friend of mine. I had several contractors in my house before I met Casey. Everyone gave me outrageous estimates with extra add on charges. Casey was my last resort and I am so glad to have found her.
When I first called Casey, she answered the phone right away. We scheduled an appointment for a free consultation. She showed up on time for the appointment. When Casey arrived she was very presentable, she was wearing a mask, and stood 6 feet away from me. I needed drywall replaced on my ceiling and a wall along with mold remediation. She spent a lot of time with me going over what exactly we needed to do to get the job done. Casey was upfront from the beginning that she was not licenced, I appreciated her letting me know right away. Transparency is very important to me. She is good at communicating and I always knew what to expect. Casey provided me an estimate the very next day. The estimate was reasonable and lower than the other companies that were trying to gouge me for every penny.
Casey and her worker showed up to my home at the time they said they would be there to do the work. She introduced the worker to me and he was wearing a mask, he was presentable and courteous. Her worker Robert was someone Casey has known for 10 years, this made me feel very comfortable that someone trusted was in my home. I felt secure leaving them both at my home alone while I had to run errands.
The both of them kept the work space clean as they worked, and when they left. I didn't have to climb over their tools when I needed to come into my home. I can tell Casey puts safety first.
The work they did was done in a timely manner, efficient, and good quality. I highly recommend this woman for your construction needs. Being a female myself, I had several male contractors in my home before her. I have to say I wasn't impressed, and half the time didn't feel safe. It was a relief to have a female owned small business owner come to my rescue. Thank you Casey for your professionalism and hard work. It's nice to have a mold free home, and nice fresh walls! :)
