If you’re thinking about hiring Mr. Neilson, stop thinking and just do it. Run—don’t walk!
This was actually the second job Mr. Neilson has done for me, and once again, he absolutely exceeded my expectations. I originally called him in a bind after another contractor quoted me an outrageous price. Mr. Neilson came through the very next day—on time, professional, and ready to work. He removed my tile quickly, cleanly, and with so much care. He went above and beyond to get it done right.
Because of how amazing that first job was, I hired him immediately to do my stairs—and let me just say, the transformation is jaw-dropping (see photos!). He took what looked like a construction site and turned it into a beautiful, polished staircase in one day .
Mr. Neilson is the definition of honest, reliable, and skilled. He operates with integrity, always shows up on time, and most importantly, he looks out for your pockets—something that really mattered to me. He doesn’t overcharge or upsell. He just delivers great work at a fair price.
On top of all that, he met me at Floor & Decor, helped me pick out the flooring, waited with me at the register, and even carried all the materials to my vehicle. That’s not something you see every day—he truly goes above and beyond.

We had a big project at our new home that included master bedroom, master bathroom and kitchen. The guys worked tremendously hard and the job was incredibly great. Loved the punctuality, cleanliness and details were precisely done. Loved every room. Can’t wait to have our basement done by them!!
