Our AC stopped working, so we called another company first. They came out, looked at it, and told us the whole system needed to be replaced—quoting us around $20,000.
Before moving forward, we decided to get a second opinion and reached out to Jose from Islas Heating & Cooling. From the beginning, he was honest and took the time to properly inspect the system. We even mentioned that it might just be low on refrigerant and were okay with a temporary fix.
After his inspection, he found the real issue wasn’t refrigerant at all—it was airflow. The coil was clogged with dust and debris, restricting airflow. He performed a full maintenance, cleaned everything properly, and got the system running like it should again.
Thanks to him, we avoided an unnecessary $20,000 replacement. Honest, knowledgeable, and truly looking out for the customer. Highly recommend Islas Heating & Cooling!
