- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is straightforward. I send availability and a clear price in my first reply, in writing. No call is required. City Hall Ceremony + Portraits is $849 for 60 minutes and up to 50 edited images. Surprise proposals and engagement sessions start at $699. Wedding coverage is $2,649 for a two-hour elopement, $3,349 for a four-hour intimate wedding, or $4,249 for an eight-hour full day with an engagement session included. Travel anywhere in Massachusetts is included, with no mileage fee. Every package includes planning help, a weather backup plan, a sneak peek within 48 hours, an online gallery, and full printing rights. Albums and prints are optional. You can order them through me or print wherever you like.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Send me your date and a rough location. I reply the same day with availability and pricing. If we are a fit, I send a contract and retainer invoice to reserve your date. Then we plan the details together. For City Hall, that means the appointment time, building, and portrait plan. For a surprise proposal, we plan the exact spot, cover story, walk-up route, signal, and rain backup. For weddings, we build a simple timeline and photo priority list. On the day, I arrive early, check the light, and keep things moving without making the experience feel staged. You receive a sneak peek within 48 hours, followed by your full online gallery with printing rights.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training came from photographing real moments where there is no second chance: weddings, City Hall ceremonies, surprise proposals, and engagement sessions across Massachusetts. I am especially experienced with fast-moving, low-light situations. City Hall rooms can be small and dim, and the ring exchange happens once. I know how to work quickly, direct clearly when needed, and stay unobtrusive when the moment needs space. I have also learned how to photograph people who feel awkward in front of a camera, so the photos still feel natural and like them. I have completed Thumbtack’s background check, and every booking is protected by a written contract.
