- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project starts with a free phone consultation and a clear, written estimate after the site visit, with no hidden fees. Because design, 3D renderings and permit drawings are done in-house by our design studio, you don't pay a separate architect, drafter or permit expediter. Payments follow project milestones, so you only pay as work is completed. We accept credit card, check, Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay and cash.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Free phone consultation to understand your goals and budget. 2) Site visit: we measure your home and review the property, zoning and utilities. 3) Design: floor plans and 3D renderings so you can see the result before we build. 4) Permits: we prepare the full permit set and work with the city or county until it is approved. 5) Construction: a clear schedule, clean job site and regular photo updates. 6) Final inspection and walkthrough. You get all drawings and permit records for your files.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
B.S. in Construction Management and M.S. in Design Engineering. 10+ years of construction and design experience in California, including managing a permit and drafting department. Licensed California General Contractor (CSLB #1160765, Class B - General Building). We work with licensed structural and civil engineers, Title 24 energy consultants and other specialists on every project that needs them.
