I hired Serena to help me with a laundry room update (full renovation to add a half bath). I needed someone to manage the selection of materials, communication with contractor, tile-layer, cabinet-maker, etc. Serena was very hands on, working directly with each of the workers. She created a slide presentation with design options and ideas, drove me to easily select all my materials from lighting, towel racks, sinks, faucets, tiles, cabinet handles, paint colors, etc. Most of the time, she was quick to respond to me and remained very involved in all aspects of the work.

I really loved working with Serena and will go to her for future projects as well. She has a highly professional, creative eye for design and can also make recommendations on architectural aspects which has been very nice. I especially appreciate her fresh, personalized and out of the box ideas, color palettes and furniture choices. Our house doesn't look like a staid page from a catalog but looks uniquely us while still being modern and stylish and comfy. Thank you Serena!

I entrusted serena with the management of an installation that I had to present in Cupertino.
My architects and I were in Italy and we needed an interlocutor in the USA who would follow all the design of the materials / furnishings, the restoration of the spaces, the relationship with suppliers and the setting up itself.
Serena completed the mission brilliantly and I don't know how we would have done without her!

A year ago when we began planning the return to the office we engaged with Serena at Clizia Design to have her design 2 wall murals for our newly renovated space. Serena was great to work with. She asked lots of questions about our company, our culture and mission. Based on those questions she designed perfect murals. In addition to her artist abilities, she managed the production and installation. There is no question we would work with Serena again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have an hourly rate of $180/hr - Thumbtack Discount Price is $150
Discounts are available for recurring customers.
Color consultations are flat-rated anywhere from $750 for indoor and from $950 for exterior.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
- Initial Complementary Phone Call .
- First on site Consultation $200 flat fee: at this meeting we will discuss the project scope and your design style.
- Signing Agreement
- Site Survey /Photos will be taken and measurements of the space will also be documented.
- Preliminary Layouts, Mood and Concept Boards
- Layout Development and 3D Model
- Furniture and Materials Selection / For example: Cabinet doorstyle & color, lighting fixtures, tiles, tile pattern, paint colors, furniture etc.
- DD Package (Design Documents Presentation) FFE sheets will list the materials and finishes you have selected for your project.

Project Management : Reviewing the entire project will help the builder retain the details of your project. During this time any questions or concerns will be addressed. Weekly site visits can be made to ensure everything is being built according to plan.
