Introduction
By shooting with both film and digital cameras, we are able to create images of pastel colors and vibrant tones. The legendary medium format film produces portraits with creamy skin tone and the ever famous "bright and airy" look. The top-notch dslr (nikon d810) we use guarantees you with images of vivid color and highest resolution (36.3 megapixels). Makeup and hair style artists are included in our premium photo session. Catherine was nice to work with. She was able to take some lovely photos of our not-always-cooperative son and even captured some smiles. Catherine even accommodated our request to see extra photos of our son. I appreciate how timely she gave us our family photos and the communication she had with my wife. If you want photos that look ethereal and feel authentic then Catherine will be a good fit.

Catherine was very friendly and accommodating. She (and her assistant) came to the south bay from San Francisco since our young family thought it was too hard to move. Her price was more than fair for the 48 edited photos we received. In fact, she would've stayed longer but our baby was fussing so much we all agreed to end early (and we still got more photos than we originally agreed on). She took great photos of our son that really capture his features...which is especially notable since he's kind of an awkward age of 3 months - too big for the true newborn photos but too small to be patient for a family photo session. We are nervous picture takers and she went out of her way to help us arrange ourselves in ways that made us less nervous. We are so grateful to capture these moments in Colin's life and we will definitely have her back as he grows!

My fiancé and I had our engagement photos done by Catherine and I'm extremely satisfied with the overall experience! From the very beginning Catherine was a breeze to work with - She gave us options of places where we could do these photos in the city, and she was open to having our dog come for the photos (even though we decided not to bring her in the end). She brought a pop up tent for outfit changes and assistant for the pops and baggage with made the process go by quicker and more efficient! Catherine kept in contact with me thoughout all my questions and emails, she never not responded. She also provided a suggestion of outfit colors that work best. She was extremely professional and knew what she was doing, I cannot wait until we get to see our photos! Thank you Catherine for everything!

We are very pleased with this project. Catherine has a great eye and was very flexible. We had 4 adults and 3 pups in our hour plus shoot. She directed us all well and was patient with our pups. The photos look amazing! I definitely recommend Cat's Lens!

Catherine and Rolf were great to work with for out maternity session! Catherine had great ideas for poses and asked us if we had anything we liked as well. Very open and flexible. Even showed us one shot on the camera to make sure we liked the pose/angle. Great value, highly recommend, and hope to have them take family photos in the future!
