- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is $65/hour for online tutoring via Zoom. Discounts available for setting up recurring weekly sessions. If you want to have a group class with other students so you can share the cost of my rate with other parents, we can arrange that.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would like get as much background information about the student that I will be supporting during our session. What are the areas of strengths and where does the student struggle? What is the student's learning style? Does the student have a learning difference? What does the student want out of the tutoring: Is it solely tutoring to help with homework? Is this to help with retention of concepts that are on standardized tests?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 22 years of experience in the field of education. I'm currently a math teacher working at a private school that teaches online. I've worked in private schools, public schools, and non-profit education. I've been teaching and tutoring students from 6th grade through high school, and up to college. I've worked in elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and at the community college. I have been teaching and tutoring online since 2013. I've worked online with students from all over the United States and internationally.
