- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each tutor at Tutors for Charity charges a different rate for their tutoring service that depends upon a variety of factors such as driving distance, subject tutored, grade level of student, educational background of tutor and the like. Hourly tutoring rates for each tutor is clearly posted in the tutor's online profile page, in addition to other information that students/parents may find helpful to learn about their prospective tutor.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Tutors for Charity, we listen to our new students/parents needs very carefully with the intention of identifying and clarifying any problems that cause frustration or confusion. After identifying the problems clearly, we work on a mutually agreed upon solution that specifies the frequency of tutoring sessions, type of tutoring, etc. New clients may begin the tutoring process by signing up on our website (it's easy and free to sign up!).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have tutors with a diverse array of backgrounds - undergraduates, college graduates of almost any major, graduate students, medical students, law students, nursing students and the like in addition to working professionals in a variety of career types.
