I cannot recommend Alex Jdanov of SoCal Premium Flooring highly enough! I had a very difficult and delicate flooring project that several other companies told me was “impossible.” I was in the middle of a bathroom remodel and needed engineered hardwood flooring feathered in under a removed vanity, all the way to the wall. The catch? My flooring had been discontinued, and I only had a few extra planks to work with. The margin for error was razor thin.

Alex did a great job. He took the time to make sure our project was done the way we wanted giving us a large number of options to choose from for materials. The installation was professional and the areas cleaned well after completion. I would definitely utilize his services in the future and recommend him to others.

Alex and his brother Paul delivered really high quality work for us consistently. We have hired them multiple times and they never let us down. Occasionally they would even help around the house without getting paid!!!! Where can you find these kind of services? I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know. I just wish they do more than just floors because I would love to hire them for any renovation projects!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We provide free in-home estimates and a detailed breakdown of each service item and the price associated. On top of installation and material prices, there are additional trash removal, furniture moving and delivery costs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a phone consultation to help answer any and all questions, explain our process and provide a quick estimate based on customer provided information. Then we conduct a free in-home estimate and provide the client with the final quote. If the customer agrees, we move forward to signing a contract, ordering materials and starting work. We provide clear communication on start and end dates, material delivery dates, and continuous project updates.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over 15 years of experience installing, replacing and working on floors (including stairs). We hold a C-15 - Flooring and Floor Covering Contractors license by the state of California.
