The Thumbtack rating system only allows for a selection of 3 items of the 5 offered. Truly, Ruiz Painting rocked all 5: Responsiveness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Work Quality, Value.
Joaquin and I communicated via text. He responded in a timely manner, and clearly addressed my questions. As I considered changing the scope of my original project Joaquin and his father met with me at my home to review what I had in mind. Their interest in my project and earning my business was evident.
I had several other projects to start and complete each within days of each other. In my situation it would not have been a good idea to have painting being done while the other projects were happening. I was not sure when I would get to the painting. Ruiz Painting Co was no pressure and simply kept in touch with me letting me know that they were ready to work with my schedule whenever I was ready. They also worked with me for my budget too.
They did excellent prep, kept the work space tidy throughout the process and did an excellent job cleaning up.
I am delighted with the entire end-to-end process of working with Ruiz Painting Co. I will hire them again and I recommend them.

I had part of my storefront painted, including the door and trim, and I’m really happy with how everything turned out. They came out yesterday and were almost finished by this morning—super efficient and easy to work with. Everything looks clean, fresh, and professionally done. Absolutely no complaints here! This is a family-owned business, and I was really impressed with the quick and thorough communication, the dedication and commitment to doing an excellent job, and just their good vibes in general. I communicated with Joaquin, the son, who was very easy to work with, and Joaquin the father painted and was so meticulous and also very communicative about the job. We had him paint several rooms, and are so happy with everything! We'll definitely be calling them again anytime we need a painter! Very trustworthy.

Ruiz painting responded to our post literally within minutes. We arranged for them to visit to give us an estimate. We accepted their estimate and they scheduled the work for two days later.
He arrived on time and was very organized and professional and made sure to protect our plants.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first discuss the project details and, if possible, schedule an in-person estimate to provide the most accurate quote. Once everything is agreed on, we schedule the job, complete the prep work, paint, and finish with a walkthrough to ensure the customer is satisfied.
