FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep my pricing fair and competitive. The initial price is higher, 100 for the first hour as that is to help cover the cost of travel and the thumbtack charges for connecting me with you. After that I charge a standard 50/hour but am always open to negotiation as different jobs have different requirements.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Get a clear understanding of what they want from the work to be done and then get to work!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent years as a landscaper, working with many tools and machines and vehicles of all sorts. I grew up on a large family owned farm that required maintenance of machinery and land. I trained to become a journeyman working under expert electricians. I have built both steel and wood structures. There is no job that I can't do. My only limitation is my toolkit and I love having an excuse to add a new tool to it.
