- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a design/build company. So we charge for design consultations. Part A: Design. All our designed are one of a kind, hand colored rendering. Our sketches show the concept in 2D and in 3D so home owners know exactly how the design will work. There is a design fee starting at $1000 and up depending on the complexity of the project. When the design is finalized by to home owner, we take it to Part B. Part B: Generating construction documents for engineering and city submittal using the latest CAD programs. We then submit a bid to the home owner using these drawings. We can also bid on drawings from other designers. In a case where the home owner wants a design and bid package, the design amount will be credited towards to overall construction bid as an incentive in this tougher economy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly attending trade shows and seminars and earning accreditation in the various smaller niches of our industry. We have earned accreditations in landscape, lighting, irrigation design, pool & spa hydrology. We are currently working on becoming educated and certified with BioNova pools - naturally filtered swimming pools without using harsh chemicals.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
About 60% of our projects are new pool & spa construction. 25% are pool & sps remodel, the remaining 15% is landscape: Barbecues, fire pits, water features, outdoor living spaces, covered patios, driveways, pavers, gardens, and curb appeal landscaping.
