I use Clean and Coat regularly in my home. They are always reliable, on time, and do a way better job cleaning my house than I can. They are very thorough and reasonably priced. Much better value than any other company I've tried in Bakersfield.

The communication through the app is great, but this is not a detailed standard clean. Lots of dust left and inconsistent results. There is also inconsistently in communication. Today i was told my regular girl would come because the lay girl missed quite a few spots. While I appreciated the 10% discount, I did not appreciate them sending someone new today without telling me after they previously stated someone I knew would be coming. I planned on being out of the house when I knew someone familiar was coming. I really would have appreciated more proactive communication. I booked through an agency to get the same quality every time and I have not found that to be the case. If you are ok with a few missed spots then definitely book, but if you’re looking for a detailed clean I would say pass.

I am sorry for the confusion but the person I sent today is the person you had prior to your last service (the one you requested) when you had a complaint about your previous cleaning tech. Not all technicians are a match for all clients which is why we are always willing to switch them out if there’s one who’s not performing up to our standards. This was your regular technician. I see you’ve posted photos from 2 different issues, today you messaged me and you stated lots of dust left behind but you only sent a photo of literally one strip of dust (which was behind an item removed for the photo, for a standard clean we don’t move all Nick nacks and photos that’s a deep clean to have individual items moved and dusted), a fingerprint smudge on the top of the shower and the dried water spots on the faucet from her spraying your shower down after cleaning and not hand drying the faucet after cleaning it. Out of your entire house there were literally 3 small spots that our technician missed, we have a satisfaction guarantee and I’d come out and wipe those spots up immediately if my employee missed it and I know you’re aware of this as I’ve offered this directly to you and you declined. The employee was written up for not performing up to our company standards, we informed you of our satisfaction guarantee, we did as you asked by removing you from our schedule and still we see you’ve chosen to leave a negative review with some conflicting information. You started out saying the communication is great (which I personally strive for) and then you went on to say you wanted more communication. Unfortunately, it seems as if there was no way to actually satisfy your expectations and I’m sorry we weren’t a good fit but telling others they should pass on us is an unfortunate addition. As a locally owned small business we strive to maintain positive client relationships and high quality services in the community we live and serve in. Across both of our thumbtack platforms we have dozens of positive reviews for people to get an overwhelming sense of what our clients feel as a whole and I hope they take the time to read those. In 3 years in business this is the first negative review we’ve received and considering how small the spots were that are being complained about in consideration of the the hundreds of happy clients we have I think our work and reputation speak for itself. We wish you luck in finding a service that you find to be a good fit.
