Very sweet and understanding. Hired for an extended family photo shoot. I had to reschedule on short notice and I felt bad seeing as it was the day of. But she understood things come up. A few days later when we took the pictures I was worried the kids would be running around, not staying still for the photos. I was wrong. She made them laugh while they posed capturing them later on in what they looked like they truly enjoyed themselves and had fun. My siblings and I loved the pictures! Been a while since we’ve had family pictures and we we’re beyond happy with the results. Would definitely hire again!!

Very professional and friendly. I had to reschedule my appointment 3 times due to things coming up on my end and thought they might get annoyed but they didn't. They treated me like family, told me not to worry, understood that things pop up all the time with kids and were more than happy to reschedule each time. Our photographer was on location ahead of time ready for my boys and I. She was very experienced and had all the poses planned out yet still came up with some awesome shots on the fly. She was really good with my kids. Especially my 7 yr old who is very energetic and talkative. I could tell she enjoyed working with kids and was very patient. It was an overall excellent experience and have already recommended to friends and family. Thank you!

I was in Bakersfield from LA to do a photoshoot and needed an extra set of hands. While Jeanil is a great photographer in her own right, she had no problem working with me. Jeanil was not only extremely professional, but also very relatable to the clients and models. We were able to spring ideas off of each other and I even learned from her great eye for positioning models. The results were fantastic and I would love to work with Jemma Ray Photography again. Highly Recommended!

We get a lot of head shots done NY and LA however, Jemma Ray was one of the best we have worked with. Her quality is amazing. She has an eye for shooting you at your best angle getting all the features you want highlighted in the shot.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've loved photography since I could hold a camera! I strayed away from it for a while and went to college but no matter what I did, especially after I had my own children, my heart has always pulled me in this direction 😊
What types of customers have you worked with?
All different types!!! From before they are born to Senior citizen sessions! Families ranging from 3 people all the way up to 20! I've even worked with a few local celebrities!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find someone you will be comfortable with and also someone you can see bringing your vision to life!
