ABSOLUTELY the BEST !!!!!!! Painted 15 years ago, age had not been kind to the weathered wood and peeling tex-cote paint on the exterior of my house. I obtained six bids for contractors to paint it again. I was impressed with Richard right from the start. He was very knowledgeable, so I hired him to paint one of my houses in Winnetka, CA. There are so many good things to say about Richard and his team. Where do I start? He seeks perfection. We are talking straight lines, clean lines, and the best material possible. His price includes Dunn-Edward or Sherwin William paint. You have 1,000+ color options to choose from. Because my house is frequently beaten by the 100+ degrees San Fernando Valley sun, I opted to upgrade to Life Paint's Cool life product for a lifetime warranty. The paint keeps my house cooler. It is thick, like yogurt - we are talking amazing quality. Their preparation to the house was perfection. They dug ditches around the entire perimeter, repaired a million cracks, sandblasted the exterior, sanded the windows, and replaced broken window panes (I don't need to replace them anymore!), and even cleaned up my neighbor's yard after the sandblasting job. Richard is not just a painter, he knows how to fix anything that is wrong with the exterior construction of your house, especially if it could negatively impact the painting results. He replaced multiple rotten wood beams on my back patio, the wood flashing on my side exterior door, removed the 1950's wood beams on my front porch, repaired window sill gaps, and replaced the entire wood siding on the side of my garage. He showed me where the previous painters even used Bondo to repair the rotten wood, rather than replace it. His price included the replacement of up to 20 feet of bad wood. He charged extra for the overage, at a very fair price. Truthfully, I was just happy that he knew how to repair everything and I didn't have to hire someone else. He is an absolute professional and extremely customer friendly. His team works quietly, music is kept to a minimum, they pick up their own trash, and discard your trash from the job at the end of the day. Their work area remains clean. He is present every day, supervising the workers. If something needs to be done, he jumps right in and appears to know how to do every part of the job. Speaking of customer friendly, I changed my mind about the paint colors so many times. He even repainted areas of my house just to make me happy. He was never frustrated with me, which I appreciate. As they say, a picture says a thousand words. Take a peek at the before and after pictures. The color is amazing - I'll take credit for that! However, I couldn't do it without Richard. He is an amazing consultant. He helped me to select the color, giving consideration to shaded areas and direct sun. So, I loved Richard's work so much that I have hired him to paint the inside of my house! Listen, if you are looking for a quality paint job, you need to hire Richard. He is the best. He is also trustworthy, knowledgeable, patient, professional, and fair priced. I highly recommend him!!! RICHARD, THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING NEW HOUSE!

The work has yet to be completed but Richard is the most thorough and professional subcontractor I have worked with in a very long time. We spoke at length and very specifically about all of the work he and his crew would perform. I will report once the work is complete.3/31 Richard and his guys finished painting Our house yesterday. Five different colors means a lot of prep, repair and masking. They did a very thorough job and the house looks great. Richard is very easy to deal with and his guys are very professional.

Update: he and his colleague, Orlando, have finished the work inside the house and are now working on the garage. Our electrician ended up punching new holes on walls they had previously painted; Richard and Orlando dutifully patched and painted them over. The holes he patched and painted over are indiscernible, you would never know there were holes there. Once again, Richard and Orlando have been excellent from the start; their prices were very good, they are very communicative and their workmanship is top-notch. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for any other drywall/painting/stucco work we need. Thank you again! Original review: We have hired Richard to remove acoustic ("popcorn") ceiling and to paint our interiors, as well as to patch holes left by our electrician (who is working in parallel). The work is in progress but Richard and his assistant have been excellent; the ceilings look fantastic (the acoustic ceiling is removed and they've sanded it down), and they are also very good about coordinating with the electrician to make sure they are using their time judiciously. Because of the quality of his work we've just hired him to finish our garage. We're looking forward to the end result!
