To whom it may concern, I have had the pleasure of knowing Maurice Gomez for many years and hold him in the highest regard. He’s an excellent martial artist who can both perform the art of American Kenpo and teach it as well. Having shared the mat with Maurice I can personally attest to his skill and knowledge. Aside from being an excellent martial artist, Maurice is a great friend as well, who I’m proud to have as my brother in the art. His attentiveness and genuine concern for his students is always apparent, which makes him not only a great teacher, but a great leader as well. Maurice is one of those instructors who understand that there’s more to the martial arts than the memorization of routines. He actually teaches the art with such sophistication and professionalism that his students have the opportunity to become great teachers as well. Respectfully, Rich Hale 7th Degree Black Belt President, Ohana Kenpo Karate Association

Learning American Kenpo Karate under Rick Jeffcoat has been a complete experience. Rick Jeffcoat is adept at teaching students of many ages, backgrounds, and learning types. I find myself at awe that in one minute he can dissect and simplify techniques that I am struggling with and then the next minute challenge and enrich techniques that I thought I had felt comfortable with. He is adept at both teaching by action and by words. Best of all, I find his "what if" scenarios valuable to bring practicality to the art. The quality of life changes he's been making to the studio has also made it feel like a second home. The place is kept clean and comfortable.

Sensei Ali Jafari is an excellent martial art trainer. He has been my martial art instructor for the past twenty years during which not only I have learned karate techniques and instructions, I have also learned many life lessons from him. His patience, enthusiasm, and willing to teach are among many positive qualities that he demonstrates on a consistent basis. He is exceptionally patient with children and individuals who may not learn as quickly as other student. Sensei Jafai is is extremely knowledgeable in Shotkan Karate, Taekwondo, and using “weapons” in martial art. Sensei Jafari always brings energy and positive attitude to the class. He often finds a balance between paying attention individually to the highest ranked students as well as the lowest rank person. Sensei Jafari is very observant and cares about every individual’s progress. He is well informed about what specific and detail areas a student needs to work on in order to be successful in Karate and other areas of life.

My children have been under the instruction of Reginald Venson for years and I couldn't be happier with our experience. He disciplines all the children but with a certain level of compassion and encouragement. He has helped my boys perfect their karate skills and also makes sure they are successful in school. Its been a pleasure working with him.

Erik is one of the best teachers of karate that one can find. Even though I have moved a number of times out of the area, I still come to Victory Karate for my training. For the intense workouts, the discipline and commitment to excellence, It's worth it.

Awesome instructors! Shihan Bruce and his Senpai are excellent. Loved the way that not only did he teach great karate skills but taught our children about respect, discipline, loyalty, determination and passion.

I appreciate the way Shihan Joseph makes time to discuss anything we are concerned about, and helps us address issues our kids may have outside of the dojo. Everyone gets personalized programs that meets the needs of their family, not a cookie cutter type of program. This is the best place to go not only to learn karate, but most importantly for personal growth including confidence!

Kevin James is one seriously dangerous karate man! He personally trained the management team of StaffPro Securty, the nation's leading sporting event security staffing firm. Everyone in attendance praised his outstanding delivery of content and professional manner in which classes were conducted. You're not going to find a better instructor anywhere.

They are all highly skilled and well trained and are great with kids. They also teach a program for special needs kids and adults. The Japanese art of Aikido, taught by Sensei Takahashi, is also taught (seperately) and cardio kick boxing is offered as well. Highly recommended!

      About

Our kid's karate classes are a great way for children to get fit and healthy. Martial arts training offers plenty of cardiovascular exercise and can improve flexibility and overall body conditioning. Qualified kid's karate instructors will give children the tools they need to avoid potentially violent situations or resolve them in a nonviolent way. While learning karate, self defense techniques are also taught, which gives them confidence in knowing that if a violent situation can't be avoided, they'll be able to effectively defend themselves.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
