Michael totally meets you where you're at on your drumming journey and takes you to surprising places (at least he's doing that for me). He keeps it interesting by staying curios about how our bodies learn to drum.

Michael is a great drum teacher, and I really enjoy learning the drums with him. He is kind and knowledgeable, paying attention to details and teaching me everything from basic grips to rudiments to drum patterns commonly found in songs, so I can play along. He is patient while also encouraging me to try my best. Im learning a lot with himand having fun!

Mike is about as good as a teacher as there is in this world. He is kind and enthusiastic, knowledgable and thoughtful. He pays attention to his students and looks for unique ways to bring out the best in them. My weekly lessons with him are always a highlight, leaving me energized to try new things and do my homework. He's equally impressive as both a drummer and a human being. Whatever your skill level or musical area of interest, Mike is undoubtedly the teacher for you.

My nine-year-old son has been taking drumlessons with Michael for about a year. The sessions are short, but dense. My son is learning how to read music, proper drumming technique and how to drum along to his favorite songs! He works really hard, but also enjoys himself. Michael is the most patient and kind teacher. His lessons are a wonderful combination of working hard and having fun. My sons progress has been slow, but steady. I feel like lessons with Michael are a great value, and I hope for my son to continue for years to come!
