I hired Juan to do a quick job of painting the underside of my large 2nd story decking and one side of my house where stucco was repaired. He did a good job, finished timely, and was neat throughout the job and cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend him if you want to have a decent job done at a very good price. He is a nice man and trustworthy.

Another painter who has the Diamond Certificate (I later learned they just purchase that rating!) totally screwed up the entry steps to my house.My friend had just used JP Painting and suggested I email Juan.Well- Juan is TOTALLY on the ball! He came out the same day and had the steps painted the next day- before a huge storm hit! And the steps look unbelievable remarkable! I'll never lose Juan's contact info- he's totally a gem with a great work ethic! Would give 10 stars if I could!

I had an issue with leaks coming from my roof that were a major concern, which in return has affected the dry wall and paint. JP company and their crew responded promptly, repairing the dry wall and painting... they also did a very good job of moving furniture and preparing the area. thank you JP

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
basically interior involves putting drop cloths on the floor taping preparation which might include crack repair stain killing patching caulking texturing the consulting with the customer to discuss the colors and the sheens. as for the exterior that involves generally pressure washing setting up scaffolds preparing all the loose and peeling paint scraping sanding repairing cracks texturing priming two coats of paint careful with all surrounding plants etc
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
San Francisco State University business after graduating from Berkeley high in 1980. Took a class to get my certificate for lead and hazardous waste removal.
