Introduction: I have written several books of guitar instruction and have given a lot of thought on how to teach and present the material. One on one interaction -- watching my students learn and become engaged in the process of learning

I've had a few guitar teachers along the way. Pete is by far the best to date. He is together with his materials (which are really great as well). He has clear very readable materials that he passes out. He sends out followup audio examples. He's available for questions and in general a very likeable guy. Plus he's very good at playing and singing.. He's the real deal. I especially like his teaching proximity is very close to BART. A++++++ Guitar Teacher.

Pete is always very thorough and supportive with students of all capabilities. He is well prepared for his classes and very approachable and of great help outside of class. His "homework" exercises are clearly composed for students of varying experience and are clearly explained and reviewed in classroom work. He is the best guitar teacher I have ever had.

Pete is a fantastic teacher! He's very patient with beginners, clear and methodical. For more advanced students, Pete brings a wealth of knowledge on technique and lots of advanced songs.

Pete has style and great musical sense to go with a generous spirit and a love of music. When you put that together in a music teacher, you get someone who knows how, cares enough to show you how, and does it all with great humor and understanding. That's Pete Madsen.
