- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continue to take refresher courses in counseling, NLP, hypnosis as well as participate in meditation groups and attend courses in other modalities of healing - especially forms of somatic healing, Hakomi, Tantra, and other lineages of meditation.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After a grueling, stressful career in high-tech advertising left me with repetitive stress injuries and near-carpal tunnel syndrome, I needed to find a career which kept me off the computer. I had a side business as a vocal coach, and decided to put my vocational rehabilitation funds to use in a certification for Hypnotherapy - so I could develop techniques for singers and performers to overcome performance anxiety. I fell in love with the work and how it could be applied to so many ways of helping others.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I help clients break through artistic resistance so they can stay focused on creative projects - this includes finding focus, inspiration, discipline. I help clients quit smoking, quit eating junk/fast food, quit eating sugar. I help clients with sensitive personal issues like erectile dysfunction, fear of intimacy due to sexual trauma, feeling not present in their own bodies, fear of communicating desires.
