Introduction: Si! Spanish Immersion is a second language learning program designed to teach Spanish to children in an organic, language-rich learning environment using play, music and art as a method to engage children and facilitate the new language learning in a natural way, the same way they learn their first language! Si! offers dynamic Spanish immersion and enrichment classes integrating art, puppet shows, singing, dancing and other games and crafts to stimulate the linguistic, social, musical and kinesthetic intelligence of children. Si! offers two different options to choose from, which include the following: - Si! With Friends You choose and organize your own group, and the teacher goes to the place you need and gives the class, keeping the same structure of the regular 2-hour class, including games, play, puppets, art and crafts projects, singing and more to learn Spanish while having fun. Costs per class (2 hours) are as follows: * Group of 3 students: $35 per student * Group of 4 students: $25 per student * Group of 5 students: $20 per student - Si! at BirthWays We have ongoing classes at BirthWays Studio (1600 Shattuck Ave, Suite 122, Berkeley, CA 94709). Johana is an engaging and effective teacher. She is organized and has a well thought out her curriculum. She is patient and caring with the children. My two elementary school-aged kids enjoy going to her classes and I feel like they get the play and art time at Si that they don't get during the school day. Plus, my son is actually learning Spanish!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Spanish Classes for children using art and crafts, singing, dancing, games, reading and puppet shows.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure the person has enough experience teaching Spanish, preferable a native Spanish speaker and the classes are small. Having few children is better for the students and for the teacher as he/she will be able to connect more easily with them.
