I have over 20 years experience in the home furnishings and interior design business. I have have owned retail stores ( furniture stores, art gallery ) , great resources including my own custom furniture line. I offer complete turn key solutions for my clients, project management and or hand on consulting for clients who just need sleep guidance but prefer to do most of the project themselves. Being that I am a project based designer I also offer package pricing which can include both the services my clients need as well as the products so it is all inclusive of one price. I love to be able to help people in creating amazing atmospheres where they live or work. The creative process and bringing all the elements together is very satisfying.

Our journey with Arash began when we purchased a new home in Palmdale. Furnishing a 5200 square foot home was an overwhelming task. We realized that this was beyond our capabilities and we needed to seek out an interior designer. My daughter came across Arash Ghiasi on Thumbtack. After sending a few pictures of the home, Arash immediately responded to us. He then came to the home for an 8 hour consultation and helped us with not only design but space planning. His custom sofas and beds are amazing. For the rest of the furniture, rugs, and artwork he provided us with choices. He kept us updated as items arrived in his warehouse. Finally, he came to the home to coordinate delivery, assembly, and set up of all of the items. He even replaced or repaired any defective items. Our experience with Arash has been nothing but magnificent. He helped us create a home that we will enjoy for years to come.

Arash Ghiasi is a gifted designer and a pleasure to work with. He is creative, knowledgeable, and detail oriented. My home was a mish mash of different furniture styles and colors, stained carpet, and faded paint. I hired him to completely revamp my home, including kitchen and bathroom design and remodeling, new lighting, fresh paint and flooring throughout the home, and new furniture, accent pieces, and artwork throughout, and he orchestrated everything from design to installation brilliantly. He selected paint colors, furniture, flooring, unique accent pieces, and artwork that work together beautifully. He has an acuity for understanding the way colors, shapes, textures, and patterns will function together to create a beautiful space. While he is able to see the “big picture” when designing a space, he hones in on details too. In addition to his creative design expertise, he also dealt with the business side of hiring and managing the contractors and coordinating all aspects of the installation. He handled any issues that arose - for example, one piece of furniture arrived damaged, and he handled the return and replacement so that I didn’t have to deal with it. He made sure the contractors’ work was perfect and held them to high standards. When any issues came up with contractors, furniture delivery, etc. Arash always advocated for me, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. Arash is also kind, patient, and personable with a great sense of humor, and he communicates effectively with clients, contractors, and retailers alike. If you are looking for an experienced and talented design professional who is great to work with, Arash is it. Because of his expertise, I now have the home I’ve always dreamed of!

all was remote and it was very convenient working with him. I just sent him the pictures of my living room then discussed a little bit in the phone. and the next day he already had a plan, then all I did was order the furniture that he recommended, and the rest was history! Arash is excellent. He is patient, creative, flexible and, most importantly, reliable. He listened to our ideas and then designed around them. He has great ideas and vision about paint, furniture, rugs, art and overall interior design. He was hands on at every step making sure that we were happy. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is project based and though I do offer an hourly rate, it is rare that my clients will want to work on an hourly basis versus project basis. I ask three questions, one is what is the scope of the work my clients need, two is what is their budget and three is when do they want to start. These three questions are the easiest and fastest ways to find out what the scope of the work will be and my clients budget and what I will charge for my services. I also design and manufacture custom furniture for my clients and so the prices always vary depending on the items selected, the fabrics and or finishes, the quantity etc...
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes I always keeping informed on some of the latest design trends and strive to provide the best services and products for my clients.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was in the fashion business as a stylist and image consultant, and I used to barter my services with furniture store owners for furniture. I had a passion for design and so one thing led to another and I transitioned into the home furnishings business and then opened retail furniture stores. Clients would request for me to go to their homes or businesses to provide interior design services, and so I furnished many homes, worked with realtors in staging their clients homes and furnished commercial spaces too. I love to design unique furniture and I have been doing that for over 15 years and so that is where and how I got into my line of work.
