I highly recommend EG Modern Construction for any general contracting project. I reached out to them for a junior ADU (JADU) studio with a separate bathroom, as well as a bathroom remodel in my main house in Pasadena. I enjoyed working with EG Modern Construction. I needed a general contractor for my bathroom renovation as well as minor work in my backyard. Erik was responsive and gave me a very competitive price. I recently had my detached garage in Burbank converted into an ADU with one bedroom by EG Modern Construction and the experience was fantastic. Erik, the general contractor, was extremely honest, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Everything went smoothly, and they offered a very reasonable price. I hired EG Modern Construction for an SB9 project in Los Angeles, where we were able to split the main house and built a detached ADU above my garage.Erik was awesome! Not a single unanswered call, and he was very helpful throughout.He introduced me to his architects who helped me with the permits. Although I got a few estimates, Erik gave me the best deal and we talked everything upfront regarding all potential costs. The project was done smoothly and the results were better than I expected.I would highly recommend EG Modern Construction for anyone planning for an ADU or SB9 project here in Los Angeles.
