- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Purchase a 4 pack of lessons for 5% off Purchase an 8 pack of lessons for 10% off I enjoy teaching lessons in the comfort of my students homes. Prices can vary based on location and travel time
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Everyone is different and I like to tailor my teaching approach to the students goals and personality. We'll get to know each other and create a lesson plan that fits your needs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began playing guitar at the age of 9 studying mainly classical guitar for 3 years. I then moved on to jazz and rock at the age of 12 where I learned music theory and began improvising. During high school I played in a jazz ensemble, a big band, and was the front woman of my own funk rock trio. I then went on to study guitar performance and professional music at Berklee College of Music in Boston where I continued to develop my style and songwriting skills and formed the progressive metal group Protean Collective. We went on to release 4 albums, play hundreds of shows, tour the east coast and were nominated for 4 Boston Music Awards. I've had an active roster of private students since 2011 and have also been a rock band coach at Plugged In Teen Band Program in Needham, MA for the past 7 years. I've worked with kids of all ages, including those with special needs, and have taught workshops in music theory, song writing, and improvisation.
