Unlike other services I reached out to for a quote, Ovik came out in-person to inspect the state of the garage concrete and take measurements before sending over an accurate job proposal. He actually bumped us up in scheduling which I appreciated noting we wanted access to our garage again, ASAP. He worked on the hottest day of summer without complaint, is super courteous on the phone and in person, and most importantly got our 1963 era garage looking practically new. His efforts takes two days to complete rather than the quicker single day turnaround pitched by other teams, emphasizing the importance of proper surface preparation paired with sufficient curing time to allow the polyaspartic floor coating to reach its maximum hardness protection. Note: the polyaspartic application has a very strong odor the first couple of days, but after the third day the VOCs dissipated significantly. That said, be ready to air it out for longer if you're sensitive to scents. He wasn't the cheapest, but only marginally more than the cheaper acrylic epoxy treatments that are inferior in durability and non-yellowing properties with a much longer lifespan by a decade or more. One other thing I would recommend is to discuss how to control and clean the excess flakes during and after application. I had to use a shop vacuum to clean up areas where the flakes escaped to.
