I have always loved images and I love making them look the best they can be. I enjoy helping photographers create images that make them look good and bring them success. I love the satisfaction of taking a damaged old photo and making family members smile.
I welcome questions about photo restoration and retouching. I kindly ask that you contact me when you are seriously considering having work completed. This helps me continue providing personalized service and accurate project estimates.
I have been a retoucher at the Warner Bros. Photo Lab in Burbank for the past 20+ yrs. I enjoy what I do there and I am currently available for additional work.
After earning my BFA in photography, I started off my career as a photographer's assistant in Kansas City, made the move to Los Angeles and continued as an assistant until I began doing retouching full time for BowHaus, and then on to Warner Bros., where I still am today.
Most of the work I do is for the publicity stills departments of several movie studios. My work is mainly published in magazines, newspapers, and websites.
In addition to beauty retouching, I am also available for old photo restoration, memorial photos, compositing images, color correcting, cutting out images for new backgrounds, and any other magic you need done to your images.
If you have prints you need scanned that are 11x17" or smaller, I can provide you with quality b/w or color scans.
My minimum cost for retouching per image is $20. I will give you an estimate after reviewing the images and before starting the job.

A photo of my late son with his sister that I thought was lost forever was revived by Jennifer. I’m so glad I decided to ask even though it was so faded I could barely see the features. She brought it back to life and what an excellent job! I will recommend her to everyone that needs this task.

My mother gave me a 50+ year old photo of her sister (my Aunt) who passed away from cancer a few years ago. The photo was in terrible shape: Torn in two, water stains, etc. I am pretty good at minor fixes in Photoshop (removing dust, scratches, etc), but this was way beyond my skillset. Pomerantz Retouching in just a few days made this photo look like it was brand new. When I emailed my Mom the retouched photo, she called me within a few minutes, crying, because she was so happy the photo turned out so perfect. She (and myself) had no idea the photo had the potential to look that good due to Pomerantz retouching doing such a fantastic job.

Retouching and restoration work is billed in 15 min increments, at $20. I will give you an estimate before starting any work. The time and pricing depends on how much needs to be done to your image.
