We've used Tandem Electric several times now, and every experience has been just as great as the first. Our initial project with them was installing a Tesla charger. They took the extra time to match the stucco color to our house -- something other contractors had tried (and failed) to do with other small projects. Tandem nailed it. Looked like new.
Next up was relocating an HVAC unit from a hall closet to the basement. As part of that, we needed a disconnect installed for some new mini-splits. The HVAC crew didn't give much notice for electrical work, but Tandem made it happen. They quickly ran the disconnect from a subpanel that wasn't exactly nearby -- saving us time and a lot of stress. On top of that, Dustin overheard me talking about storage and suggested adding shelves in the basement. They installed them, and that pretty much solved our storage problem, too.
Another time, we needed to fix a lingering issue with outdoor lighting. The original contractors had buried the wiring under concrete steps (before the concrete was poured), and a few other people we called just wanted to rip everything out and start from scratch. Dustin and his team were able to locate the original electrical, clean it up, and finish the job -- something others weren't willing or able to do.
Most recently, they helped with an outdoor spa installation and some setup for our backyard batting cage. Honestly, the experience working with Dustin and the Tandem team has been so good that I find myself looking for new projects just to have them back.

We charge a flat fee of $240 for all initial site visits, which covers travel time, troubleshooting, up to one hour of labor (if the issue can be resolved on-site), and a detailed written proposal for the project or job. Should you choose to proceed with our proposal, the $240 fee will be fully credited toward the total project cost.
