- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically work on a fixed design fee for larger projects -or projects with a specific scope- and hourly if I'm just helping here and there, or doing a design consultation on material selection/layout.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Based on client meetings, site measurements, a questionnaire and a review of inspiration images, I create drawings and a mood board(s) to illustrate my design concepts and layouts. For most items, I typically offer options at different price ranges. My design process is a collaborative effort and the scheme is completed based on client feedback. I work to quickly identify main pieces clients like, and build a scheme around them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Interior design is a second career for me. I have a BA from University of Pennsylvania and an Associate's degree from NY School of Interior Design. I'm a Professional Member of ASID and a LEED Green Associate.
