FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies by project size, material, and design. We provide clear written estimates so customers know exactly what to expect before work begins. There are no hidden fees, and we focus on offering fair, competitive rates while not compromising quality workmanship.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a phone consultation to discuss the customer’s goals, design, and style. Next, we inspect the space or review project plans to take accurate measurements and recommend suitable options. Once the best option is selected, we provide a detailed written estimate and timeline. After approval, we handle the job according to the detailed scope of work provided, keeping communication open throughout the project. The process ends with a walk-through and care instructions to ensure quality complete satisfaction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 25 years of experience in the construction industry. I completed formal training in construction and building technology, followed by specialized courses in stone fabrication, tile setting, and OSHA safety standards. I also hold a California contractor’s license, C54 stone and tile license as well as a B general contractors license, which requires verified experience and testing in trade knowledge and business practices. Over the years, I’ve trained directly with slab suppliers and fabrication machine manufactures and tile tools and materials manufacture, on proper cutting, polishing, installation, adhesives, waterproofing and sealing techniques. Continuous education in new materials, fabrication and installation ensures that our work meets current design and durability standards.
