Manuel Jr., and his team are true professionals. I hired them to remodel my master bathroom however the scope of work quickly exceeded the original plan due to unforeseen structural problems. But this is why you hire a professional! I was given a plan to remedy the solution consisting of the extra work, permits & cost within a few hours time. Unfortunately I’ve had negative experiences with less competent contractors who simply wouldn’t have been able to handle a situation like this. You know you are dealing with the real deal when they can bring a structural engineer out to the house on short notice with only a call. The bathroom turned out great. The experience working with Jr., & Greenline was even better!Oct 18, 2018VerifiedSilicon Valley Kitchen & Bath Co.'s reply
We appreciate the kind words Jalal, it was a pleasure working with you!
I was able to schedule estimates with 5 contractors for my bathroom remodel. Each definitely had their own approach with a few being extremely pushy trying to talk me into doing work I didn't want to do! I believe Green line was the 3rd appointment I had and Manuel Sr & his son Manuel Jr definitely stood out to my family and I. They listened to what we wanted, gave me a few options and honest recommendations (which actually involved less total work = less money). I really appreciated the honest no pressure approach. It was also very clear to me that they had a lot of experience because they were able to point out a few things that no other contractor brought to my attention. Service: I'd say the entire process was pretty seamless, Jr or Sr were always available through call or text, no issues with cleanliness or picking up materials. They use a progress payment system so we paid them as they completed certain phases of work which really made us feel comfortable after all the horror stories we've heard about bad contractors.. They were able to recommend retailers for the finish materials which was very helpful. Work Quality: Craftsmanship excellent, tiles were set beautifully and look stunning. About half way through we decided to go with their recommendation of doing level 5 texture through the vanity area into the bathroom (which they gave a VERY good price for), this was a great suggestion as it really helps in bringing a cleaner modern look. Paint, vanity and fixture installation were all done very nicely. Over all very satisfied, we will be calling Green Line back to do the guest bath in a few months. Price: They were not the cheapest estimate I received. I decided to hire them because they felt trustworthy. Which is a hard thing to achieve after one meeting. However I am EXTREMELY pleased with the price I paid for the finished product. They explained to me in out initial meeting that this type of finish work requires a certain amount of money to do properly which I completely understand now. They were also not the most expensive which is surprising for the transformation they accomplished. Thanks guys! -ChristinaFeb 2, 2018VerifiedSilicon Valley Kitchen & Bath Co.'s reply
Thank you Christina, we enjoyed working with you on your project!
Manny does awesome work! This was my first time ever trying to improve my house and I needed a complete bathroom and family room upgrade. Out of all the contractors and remodelers he was the quickest and most responsive. Within a day or two, he presented a beyond reasonable quote and started to get down to business! He kept me updated on the status of completion and the outcome was A M A Z I N G, totally feels like a new home. Green Line Dev will definitely be my go to next time my wife or I ever need any type of renovation or home upgrades. With a new child on the way, they were one less hassle I had to deal withSep 4, 2018Review from GoogleSilicon Valley Kitchen & Bath Co.'s reply

Silicon Valley Kitchen & Bath Co. is the epitome of best-in-class home renovation. From start to finish, the level of communication, trust, knowledge, quality, vision/innovation, and cost are far beyond my expectations. And I am a particularly picky person ;) We met with 6 local home renovation companies over the course of the past year. One by one we quickly ruled companies out. From the moment we first met with SVKBC, we finally felt comfortable enough to proceed in the discussions about key renovations needed in our home. Communication: As a detailed oriented, OCD person, I had so many questions about how renovating 2 of our 3 bathrooms + laundry room (while living in the house simultaneously) could even work. I had questions about my vision for turning our tiny master bathroom into an enclosed reasonable sized bathroom. I had questions, my husband had questions and the communication from start to finish was impeccable. Trust: As my husband and I are Averse to having random new people in our home (especially with young kids) the trust was almost immediate (especially due to the awesome communication). As a family owned business you can tell this crew are here to do quality work, respect the house and home and family members. We’d never before have people in our home when we weren’t home, it changed almost instantly because the evident trust that was warranted came through immediately. My kids actually became attached to this crew and wonder why they aren’t here anymore ;) Knowledge - My husband and I have extravagant taste (e.g. expensive) in materials. That is on us ;) But we also didn’t know what we didn’t know about what materials would work where. Manuel Jr. took us shopping for tiles, plumbing, etc (all on our schedule) and there were things that would not have worked in terms of texture of flooring, sizing of certain materials, etc. Manuel guided us through all of our choices and we could not be happier with all of it. Any issue that arose, given we are in an older home, they knew just how to remedy it to make everything safe, up to code, and in compliance with our overall design. Vision / Innovation - A remodel is not complete without vision or innovation, we now know. My husband and I had our ideas, but Manuel Jr. and Sr. brought our vision to a bigger life than we could have imagined. They understand the mechanics under the hood, and were able to recommend even more incredible design ideas while we were moving along in the renovation. There is no cookie cutter approach to their work. It is completely custom, tailored to our taste, lifestyle and preferences. Several things that were innovated throughout the way, Moving down our laundry appliance chords, sealing over the new Landry room with beautiful slab, but building a lift up door so we can still access the knobs in case of emergency, built in drying rack in our laundry vs. rehanging our protruding one, using our fancy wall tile to trim our recessed medicine cabinets, new recessed lights in the new 2nd master closet and entry way (would have been so dark without these!), custom made mantle for the new fireplace (did I mention we added a remodel of our fireplace midway through the bathroom projects?). Cost - Of all the contractors we met they were not the least expensive. But they were the only one that gave such thorough detail and communication on exactly what is being spent where and why, that the trust in the cost was solidified. The saying goes, you get what you pay for. However, in the construction business I have come to know too many people who pay a pretty penny for a not so pretty result. This was not the case here. We are just so grateful we chose them to renovate our home, and finished just in time for us to enjoy it every second of every day.Mar 27, 2020
