FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You get a clear written price before any work starts, so there are no surprises on the bill. For service calls and troubleshooting, I'll tell you what the visit costs on the phone before anyone comes out. Permits and PG&E fees are passed through at cost, never marked up. I'd rather price it fair and earn your next call than squeeze one job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. You call or message and tell me what's going on. Photos of your panel and the area help a lot. 2. I ask a few questions, and if it needs a look, we set a time to come out. 3. You get a written proposal with the scope and price. 4. We schedule the work, pull the permit when it's needed, and handle the inspection. 5. We test everything, clean up, and walk you through what we did. Panels we work on get a typed panel schedule.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years of field work in residential and commercial electrical, plus ongoing study of the current California Electrical Code. Xeptional Electric Inc. holds California C-10 Electrical Contractor license #1146176 and carries general liability and workers' comp.
