Maria Alcacer-Mackinlay

My background is in finance and international business. I held a job as a corporate consultant for ten years before deciding to stay home and raise my two wonderful children. I love teaching! In college I tutored every summer. When I had a corporate job, I was always the one running conferences, workshops and seminars. At my kids' school, I volunteer as a tutor and manage one of the programs offered through G.A.T.E. Math, finance and economics, those are my passions, and I enjoy getting students excited about those subjects. I am a native Spanish speaker, fully bilingual and can help you both with conversation and grammar. If you are a Spanish speaker, I can assist you with your ESL testing. I am very flexible! I will adapt to your learning style. The key to understand each concept is to find the right combination of examples and explanation.
