Introduction: My name is Taylor and I’m your muralist. I’ve been drawing and painting since I could walk, went to school for a BFA, studied art and art history abroad in Italy, have traveled the world with art as my lens, and am currently creating murals and fine art in beautiful California, USA. I've got years of professional mural experience, a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a double concentration in Painting and Drawing, I work in a wide range of styles, and my pricing is competitive. I hold a C33 Contractor's License in the state of CA, and I use pro grade paints and materials that guarantee the artwork will last beautifully through time. I work efficiently, neatly and professionally with quality and client satisfaction being my number one objective. I work closely with my clients, going back and forth on their concepts and imagery so that what’s left is a work of art that is absolutely loved. I would like my clients to know that my pricing is based on the level of quality, professionalism and beauty that they will be experiencing with the final product and the process of their custom mural. A mural is a permanent work of art on an interior or exterior wall and it has the potential to transform a space. When murals are done right, they can make a beautiful positive impact on people’s experiences of a location or room. The price that my clients pay is more than reflected in the lasting effect of their custom mural artwork.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process goes as follows: 1. I receive general concept and general size 2. General quote is given 3. We brainstorm composition, details and specifics 4. I create any sketches needed 5. We finalize project details 6. We finalize price 7. Contract is signed 8. Invoice is sent 9. Down payment is processed 10. Work begins 11. Image is sketched on walls 12. Painting is created 13. Artwork is approved by client 14. Clean up 15. Final payment is processed
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Throughout the process I pride myself on professionally. I draw on a lifetime as an artist and years of experience painting. In 2006 I received a Bachelor of Fine Art with a double concentration in Painting and Drawing. With that formal arts training I have had countless hours dealing with design, proportion, scale, composition and detail. In terms of murals specifically I have over 10 years of experience and many completed projects. I use professional grade paints picked for longevity. I take time to tape, plastic or drop cloth off everything and take great care in preserving the existing workspace to ensure everything is kept neat and clean.
